The side event ‘Water & Wastewater Challenges in the Gulf Region’ was presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, during the Katowice Climate Change Conference. The event focused on the water and wastewater challenges of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and highlighted climate adaptation and mitigations efforts being made to tackle the challenges.
