We are happy to announce that our Agriculture group, represented by Nayara Musskopf and Aishah Alsamdani, won the ITAS Arab Youth Competition 2023  hosted by The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) in Doha, Qatar between March 1-3, 2023.

Out of 124 applications from 15 countries and 78 universities, our project entitled "SandX and CarboSoil as Two Practical Technologies for Realizing Sustainability and Food–Water Security in GCCs" made it to the final stage of ITAS Arab Youth Competition. The ITAS Arab Youth shortlist consisted of 15 teams from 8 different countries where they selected the Top 3 Projects to be the Winners of ITAS Arab Youth Competition.

Our project won 1st place, with the amazing pitch given by our team members Nayara and Aishah! We are very proud of you girls. 

We also appreciate the contribution of the other team members involved in this project: Dr. Adair Gallo Jr., Dr. Kennedy Odokonyero, Lisa Oki Exposito, Batool Albar, and Professor Himanshu Mishra.
