Research Interests

I am highly interested in atomistic level understanding of the interfacial processes, nano-engineering of the material and its rational design for electrochemical applications. I am equally interested in deciphering the interplay & the influence of hydrogen bonding, electrostatic force, van der Waals force, ion specific force, ion correlation force, etc., on hydrophobic forces with molecular level understanding of the arrangements of small molecules at hydrophobic surfaces. My new interest is the nanoscale characterization of the interaction of polymers with biological interfaces to optimize their properties for lubrication and bio-adhesion.
