Biography

Muzzamil Ahmad Eatoo obtained his MTech degree in corrosion science and engineering from the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Before this, he completed his BTech degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. 

Before joining KAUST, Eatoo worked as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay, investigating electrochemical energy storage devices, e.g., Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Prof. Mishra’s Interfacial Laboratory (iLab), where he is working at the nexus of electrochemistry, surface science, aquatic chemistry, and corrosion prevention.
