Research Interest

Tauqir A. Nizami main scientific interest related to Carbon-Carbon coupling reactions, C-H bond activation, rearrangement, reaction mechanism and catalysis. I am equally interested in synthesis of organic molecules, natural products and medicine. My new interest is investigating the mechanisms underlying rate accelerations in certain organic reactions when carried out in oil-water emulsions. Our aim of research is to dissect the contributions of the enhancement in the water-organic surface area from the solubility of the organic into the water phase.
